Problems with Chlorine as a Pool Sanitizer

Chlorine has a number of properties that make it inherently difficult to use as a pool sanitizer.  Chlorine is a very reactive element, which means it is constantly reacting with other compounds in the pool or being broken down by sunlight.  In addition to creating the harmful compounds discussed in the Health Effects of Chlorine section, this means that it is nearly impossible to create an even distribution of chlorine in the pool, and thus it is nearly impossible to ensure consistent sanitization.

Another side effect of chlorine's instability is that it has to constantly be replenished.  Nearly all pool maintenance guides recommend that you check pool chlorine levels daily and replenish as necessary.  In addition to being a huge drain on your valuable time, it is a drain on you financial resources as well.  It can cost hundreds of dollars a year in chemicals to keep a moderately sized pool properly chlorinated.

Chlorine is also a very corrosive element.  If pool chlorine is not kept in perfect balance, which we've already shown is nearly impossible to do, it can cause severe damage to pool walls and components, thus hastening the need for expensive repairs.

Isn't it time to rid yourself of the hassle and expense of chlorine and switch to the simple, easy to maintain Barramundi Pools chemical free and salt free sanitization system?
