Electrode Cleaning

Your electrodes need to be cleaned every six months.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the lead from the control box and remove the chamber from the plumbing line.
  2. Place cleaning cap on one end of the chamber
  3. With the chamber positioned in a secure vertical position: fill with a solution of 5 parts water to 1 part acid and allow sitting for 15 minutes.
    (Always add acid to water and follow manufacturers safety instructions).
  4. Empty the solution out of the chamber and rinse thoroughly.
  5. Reinstall chamber with the copper bars from pump side and titanium plates to pool side into plumbing line and attach the lead to the control box.

Please contact your dealer with any questions relating to your Barramundi Freshwater Swimming Pool system. Pool shops supplying non-Barramundi systems do not have the experience to advise you correctly.
